Recruitment Drive Celebrates Growth

We’ve recently embarked on a new recruitment drive to help us continue to grow the team and continue on our promise to deliver the best service to our clients.

Thirteen new faces have joined Elsby & Co across our Rushden and Sywell offices as part of our commitment to giving talented individuals not only a job in accountancy, but a career they can be proud of and flourish in.

Kupesh Patel is one of four partners at Elsby & Co. He said: “It’s always exciting to welcome new talent to the fold and this year, despite the challenges brought about by the pandemic, we have been committed to finding new recruits and rewarding them with a dynamic future at the firm.

“We are very proud of the culture we have created at the practice, which provides opportunities for people to join us as trainees with a view to one day becoming partners. It’s our intention to home grow our leaders so that they progress with the knowledge that their future is in their hands, and if they have the determination to succeed, they will be rewarded accordingly.”

Warren Logue, Trainee Accountant, who joined in June 2021 said: “Everyone at Elsby and Co has made me feel welcome and I’ve settled in very fast. I’m proud to work for a company that is progressive and encourages individuals’ development. I envisage a long, fulfilling, and prosperous career here.”

Another new recruit is trainee accountant, Patience Djan. She said: ?“As a trainee, one thing I have found very valuable is the open-door policy between trainees and managers, which encourages you to ask for help – the team is always willing to help each other out. The firm has a customer-centric approach, and not only have I developed my technical skills, but I have also gained experience interacting with clients. I can honestly say that Elsby & Co is a great supportive firm to work for, with many opportunities for learning and progression.”

Nikki Sargent of the recruitment company Exceda managed the process for the practice. She has been working in the industry for 15 years and is applauding Elsby & Co for its vision. She said: “Recruiting people with an eye on the long term is a wise move. Companies and organisations which invest in training and developing their staff to be leaders in the future will see that investment returned many times over.”
