Recruitment #DNA
Anamika Singh
Recruiting Expert identifying and attracting top talent for companies. EVP Consultant
I decided to jump out of a cliff (professionally speaking) and created my company. I identified gaps that qualified as both "wants" and "needs" and within this newsletter, I decided to provide my content to recruitment. Having been on both sides, there are a few topics to cover. I doubt that I would be popular with my approach.. But these are my experiences that I want to highlight and the difference that I would try to make with my company.
Will I succeed? I won't know until I try...
"Ambulance chasers" is a common term that I've heard describing #recruiters and I can understand the reasons why...
A candidate looking for a job/role may seek a specialist / professional recruiter. Sadly, a high percentage of these candidates are not helped and are left #despondent. ????
Recruitment is a cut-throat #competitive environment with the unspoken rule, to present a candidate for client consideration in the quickest timeframe. On the flip-side, those candidates who have not made-the-grade, most often, no time is taken to work with them to close any gaps. I understand that "time is money" which is important for continuity. However, it should partner with providing a great client and candidate experience.. #Relationship #management should be one of the "double-helix" connections in recruitment and is evidently absent in most cases.
The human element is vital, to not merely treat candidates as your next Dollar $ commission. Recruiters should want to help and not just push for an appointment with the maximum remuneration.
I am passionate about recruitment & I #want to make a difference. [Wish me luck] ????
