Are you interested in supporting Cancer Care at a global level??Then come help City Cancer Challenge (C/Can) diversify their funding as their new Head of Institutional Fundraising to support cities around the world as they work to improve access to equitable, quality cancer care.
The Head of Institutional Fundraising will support C/Can resource mobilisation efforts aimed at enhancing and building relationships within the Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) global health landscape as well as diversifying and opening up new funding opportunities.?This is not a traditional institutional fundraising role, as readily available funding mechanisms to apply to do not exist, so the post holder will need to steward funders to unlock funds to support C/CAN programmes. Ideal location is Washington DC, USA, or Geneva Switzerland, but other locations will be considered.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter and a relationship builder with international experience and an already established network within foundations and governmental fields in the health sector and a track record (> USD1 million) of cultivating corporate and individual gifts or sponsorship at local, regional, and ideally international level.?
