Recruiter in review #1
Our recruitment team places Stefanini's values at the core of their activity, guiding their day-to-day processes and attitudes towards potential talent. While each interview is unique, and questions might vary depending on the job and industry, for Miruna, openness, motivation and preparedness are the key factors for a successful interview.
?Read her insights below:
What is the first things you notice at a candidate in the first interaction? How can one make a good impression from the start??
??? Miruna: The things I notice in the first interaction are a candidate's openness, willingness and motivation. Even during times when many people are working remotely and we don’t have the same level of face-to-face interaction, when you talk with a smile on your face it can be noticed even by phone.
A positive attitude is a great start to forming a good impression. A candidate who is open and active in a conversation, willing to listen and to share, who shows flexibility and motivation to learn will always make a good impression from the start.
Do you remember a candidate that pleasantly surprised you or the hiring manager?
??? Miruna: I have more than one example here, but in general, when a candidate has a positive attitude and is prepared for an interview it is appreciated.
As a candidate, you can show interest and engagement by researching the company beforehand and trying to understand the role you applied for. This will help you understand the job requirements and will help you position yourself correctly during the interview, while being honest about your strengths and weaknesses, about what you can do and what you want to learn and achieve.

Who are you as a recruiter – what matters the most to you?
??? Miruna: When I think of who I am as a recruiter, I like to think of myself as a friend.
A friend is there for you to listen and understand your needs and will help you accomplish your goals. In my vision, a recruiter should be a partner for both sides - for the organization, understanding its needs and acting in order to fulfill them, as well for the candidates – understanding their skills, abilities and their goals and ensuring these are highlighted during the hiring process. The most important thing for me is to be that bridge that unites the needs and desires of both sides.
Why?
Because there’s nothing more uplifting to know that I was part of a person’s story who is now happy with their new job, and will get the chance to grow and develop while helping the business to flourish as well.?
Do you have a motto that inspired you??
??? Miruna: Walt Disney once said: “You can dream, create, design and build the most wonderful place in the world, but it requires people to make the dream a reality.” That’s a quote that is very dear to me and is reflected in one of Stefanini’s principles: “Respect and believe in people”.?
