Recovery prospects in CEE: Banking stability, Green & Digital are key

RBI, represented by Corporate Board member Peter Lennkh and Head of Research Gunter Deuber, was invited to present some key views with regards to the regional outlook at the virtual 17th Vienna Economic Forum, an event attended by a lot of high-level politicians and experts. That said Vienna remains a key place for the region as ~40% of banking exposures to CEE among Western players to the region are coming from Austria. Moreover, this time around banks are well-placed to contribute to the economic transformation and recovery in CEE.
