You can support recovery in your community, at family level and for individuals just as you are.

Look no further - be part of the work in that is bringing all of us together to say that “Recovery Is Possible – Lets Do It Together”.

The Recovery process can lead to positive outcomes, but it requires concerted efforts from all of us to promote, support, be intentional and apply the science and research that is in line with it.

Think of those individuals, communities and families that don't have access to medical care for treatment and recovery, all they may need is someone like you and I to link them to the necessary support and walk alongside them in the process.

I support acute care, for example to manage withdrawal and ensure safety of those with substance use disorder as a necessity but also believe that we can all be part of strategies to prevent subsequent and repeated use by ensuring that recovery is promoted as an important component within the continuum of care.
