Record Your Actions
Google has a recorder in developer console. It allows you to name recordings and replay them or export them.
There are GitHub repositories that can convert those recordings exported to just about any test runner. Test runners can run more than tests they can automate tasks, they can be leveraged to scrape data, or improve data or markup.
You can change the values you record and make them parameters. You can also give any parameters a dynamic default.
Every operating system has the ability to schedule an automated task.
There are many possibilities you can do with the above information.
This is just a fun little post as I wait for an invite only hackathon to start, where I am leading a team, I have never met before and we are going to use the recorder, utilizing an org's templates to inject environment variable conditionals, to do something pretty cool.
While my team I never met, I wrote a proposal, and I fielded the largest team. Some of them reached out as they didn't quite understand what I was pitching but we are also going to be utilizing DOM Mutation API.
So layering:
We will take a big step forward to solving a pervasive problem among software developer community, lack of SME, and lack of quality automation that scales.
AI + DX / UX, ensuring repeatable outcomes at scale
1 年if not obvious for image on this post I used auto backfill but I don't have adobe license yet, so I used a freemium image backfill, free version does low quality, and that's supposed to be an Aladdin doll wearing a reboot version of google glass. At the conference I attended and spoke at their was an attendee/speaker from Google wearing Google Glass in 2023, likely so he could record his conversations while being present in the moment.
