In the Men's event the Winner was Ryan Stewart from Glasgow in a new course record of 3:40:15. As he says himself he finally got it right and delivered a great performance. Steady pacing starting in 7th after the first climb, 2nd at halfway and kicking on to a strong finish and a well deserved victory.

Ricki Wynne from Drumshanbo in Leitrim took an early lead coming off Muckish by himself, getting caught by Ryan in the Aghla’s and had a strong finish to hold second comfortably in 3:47:31.
