"I had the pleasure of reconnecting with Major Saurabh Batta, during my recent visit to Lausanne, Switzerland. A distinguished member of the Parachute Regiment Special Forces, Major Saurabh has seamlessly transitioned from his military service to a successful career as a risk professional in the corporate world, now based at Zurich.
Our paths first crossed at the Army Airborne Training School in Agra back in the early 1990s, where Major Batta, then a Lieutenant stood out as the top student, earning the highest grades in our course. Despite the passage of 24 years, our professional trajectories have kept us in contact, yet meeting in person after more than two decades was truly unforgettable.
I extend my heartfelt best wishes to Major Saurabh Batta in all his pursuits. Our reunion in Lausanne, Switzerland and Evian, France, allowed us to not only catch up but also to reflect on cherished memories from the past. It was a privilege to spend time with such an esteemed colleague and friend.
