Reconnecting with lost delight of manual writing in the modern digital age

A few days back, just when I sat down to write few important things on a paper and consequently was deeply engrossed during that process, I got myself clicked in a candid moment. ????

Well, my initial reaction was of feeling surprised coupled with a big smile on my face. ????

However, after a while, I couldn’t help but think of the last time when I actually held a pen in my hand and wrote down some words on a paper. ????

With the advent of technology, a lot of tasks in our everyday lives have been made quite simple and benefitted us immensely in terms of organizing our priorities at work. ????

On the other hand, an over reliance on the digital world has made us lose touch with simple pleasure or sometimes the caution that comes along with writing manually. ?????

These basic thoughts of penning down things after so long made me nostalgic of our good old days as well as think futuristically of the times ahead when there will be little use of paper and pen. ????

On the other side, the physical act of writing manually is a deliberate process which encourages us to slow down, reflect, and imbue our words with genuine emotion. ??????

At some point in your lives, I am sure all of you must be familiar with the quiet moments spent contemplating the next sentence, the brief pause to find the right words – all these subtle gestures which form a large part of the manual writing experience. ??????

Well undoubtedly, technology has paved the way for innovative forms of communication. From interactive multimedia presentations to real-time collaboration on documents, the process of digitalization has provided mankind today with tools which empower productivity and efficiency. ??????

Globally, it has greatly helped in democratizing communication as people from around the world can now connect instantaneously. ??????

To conclude, I would like to say that while there is absolutely no denying of the immensity of the positive transformation that technology has brought in our lives, however, let us not forget the elegance and the distinct beauty of writing manually which not just helps us in being fully present in the moment but articulate our innermost thoughts in a deeply personal yet refined manner. ???????
