RECONNECT

This period of #LOCKDOWN makes us all to aware of the fact that the world, our lives, may change going forward. While there is so much to be worried about, it also brings with it the chance to do so much that "Normal" life doesn't.

My life, like many us, has changes a few times. My path has changes directions, focus has moved, passions evolved and died. With every change there is a ripple effect that follows, and the most notable effect for me has been the change in people. I have moved continents, countries, industries, and roles and in each move the people in my life have inevitably changed as well. The people have changed for the better, perhaps my values have shifted as I've grown, or belief systems changed. The change in people in these instances have been healthy, but in other changes I've lost contact with great humans!

This time of #LOCKDOWN has, with no direct intention, provided me the chance and time to reconnect with great people that I lost touch with. People that at one time I thrived on interacting with, people who I grew because of, people from whom I stole a bit of their character through our interactions and added to my ammo box.

So as much as this #LOCKDOWN has been brought about through very grave circumstances, and for many represents a lot of pain, there are things that I am VERY grateful for. Reconnecting with amazing people, whose contact seemed lost, is certainly a huge value to me.
