Recognizing World Mental Health Day: Resources to Advance Mental Wellness in the Workplace
Every year, we unite to celebrate #WorldMentalHealthDay through education, awareness, and action against stigma towards the various mental health challenges facing workers across the globe. Disability:IN celebrates the value of safe and meaningful conversations regarding mental wellness in the workplace. As we collectively honor and recognize World Mental Health Day, we encourage you to explore a few of Disability:IN's mental health resources to learn how you can be a #MentalHealth champion and ally.
Workplace Mental Wellness Resource Guide
Led by Committee Co-Chairs Dr. Tamarah Duperval-Brownlee, MD, MPH, MBA, FAAFP (of Accenture) and Clare Miller (of Meta), the Mental Wellness Committee developed the Workplace Mental Wellness Resource Guide that provides an overview of mental health disabilities commonly experienced in the workplace, in addition to a curated list of publicly available resources that can support professionals with workplace mental wellness. The guide includes general resources, toolkits, and a variety of terms.
