On this Veteran's Day, this firm recognizes the great sacrifice and courage of those who have served in the past and today. While in last year's post I recognized the military work performed by several of my relatives, as Veteran's, this time, I'm dedicating this post to my father, Mr. Martin Moskowitz, armed with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering, Ocean Engineering and in Environmental Management and Policy who, while not a Veteran, his work as an electrical engineer on behalf of the United States Navy and, in particular, the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) (previously NUSC; Naval Underwater Systems Center) further advanced numerous technologies including but not limited to the sonar capabilities of several nuclear-powered submarines to defend this great nation and our allies against all enemies foreign and domestic. It is important to note that while he was ready to serve in the Vietnam War, Naval officers at the upper echelon selected my dad to work on top secret projects in support of the Cold War. My father's work and those of his colleagues must be recognized as it's the incredible education, dedication, knowledge and expertise of such scientists that helps protects our military personnel on a constant basis. His constant trips, sea and ocean trials aboard various ships and submarines will never be forgotten. On this day, we salute you!
