Recognizing Industry Partners
The Procurement team of KANA hosted the 2019 Supplier of the Year Award Ceremony, June 20th in Markham, Ontario. The ceremony celebrated and served as a reminder to all, the impact suppliers make in the line of business.
The 2019 Supplier Award Ceremony kicked off with Michael Rank, EVP Global Procurement, addressing the audience with a brief overview of KIRCHHOFF Automotive’s global footprint and product capabilities. Sumit Dutta, Vice President KANA Procurement, illustrated to the audience as well, what it takes to win Supplier of the Year is not just pricing, quality and delivery but also how the individual suppliers partner with KIRCHHOFF Automotive to meet stakeholder expectations, help in winning new business, help launch new programs flawlessly, and finally how they provide day-to-day operational support to KANA plants.

The annual KANA Procurement meeting also took place this day and was a chance for the team to discuss various topics such as: procurement initiatives, support in resolving operational supplier issues, next stages of enhancing procurement, new program supplier launch management (SPLM), enhancing support for new business acquisitions, to name a few.
