Meet Vicki

Vicki describes herself as quiet, determined, and considerate. She was drawn to her role as a Business Analyst as it enables her to utilise her knowledge and experience to implement process changes that benefit staff and customers.

She attributes her success to always seizing new opportunities and says that even if they don’t work out the experience is never wasted as you always learn something new and meet new people.?

Having a supportive employer and flexible working arrangements are important to Vicki as a way of managing her work and personal commitments.

The best career advice Vicki has received is to take an interest in the people you work with. She is a firm believer in supporting those around you, being open and honest with communication and sharing knowledge.

Vicki doesn’t have a specific role model, but takes on learnings from a range of leaders she has admired throughout her career enabling her to develop knowledge and skills that contribute to her being successful in any role.

Working at DTF Vicki has had the opportunity to be a member of the Port Adelaide Community Engagement Committee which reaches out to the local community and supports local charities.?

Vicki feels privileged to be a member of the committee as she has connected with many local people that are making a difference to the people and environment of Port Adelaide.?
