Recognising Our Top Sales Performers @ Oracle Digital EMEA

Earlier this month, seven of the top sales performers from across Oracle Digital EMEA travelled to the magnificent city of Tokyo to meet with their JAPAC colleagues for a week of cherry blossom, experience-sharing …and a little bit of karaoke! 

From the very start our travellers followed an action-packed agenda kicking off with a fabulous welcome reception and dinner hosted by John McGann, an Oracle Digital VP, at the hotel that would be their base for the duration of their stay, the five star New Otani Hotel. Over the four day trip, they met many wonderful people and experienced first-hand the true Japanese culture, including an authentic tea ceremony and lots of delicious sushi! 

An exclusive tour of the Oracle Tokyo office was arranged where they met and learned from some of Oracle’s senior leaders from the JAPAC region. Not only did they have the chance to discuss and dissect how sales can differ around the world and the challenges and opportunities that that can bring, they even met the star of the office, Oracle Tokyo's employee dog - Candy!

Our team had plenty of time to take in the sights and sounds of Tokyo on a number of fabulous sight-seeing adventures, featuring some of the city’s most famous attractions including the Tokyo Tower and the impressive Edo Museum, to name but a few.

 I would like to say thanks to our colleagues in the Oracle Tokyo office for making this once in a lifetime experience so special for our front runner winners!
