Reclaiming Your IBC?CUDOS
The Fetch.AI ($FET) smart contract for reclaiming IBC CUDOS launched today, February 12. This provides a solution for users to recover their tokens. This update simplifies cross-chain asset management and marks another step forward in the collaboration between CUDOS and Fetch.AI as part of the ASI Alliance.
Why This Matters
Several CUDOS native holders did not manage to send back their tokens to the CUDOS blockchain before it stopped. This smart contract allows them to swap these CUDOS in the ASI chain to FET at the same 118.344 ratio as everyone else. The frontend contract simplifies the process by removing the complex manual steps related to CosmWasm contract interactions that some users might not be familiar with. This solution offers:
How It Works
We’ve prepared a short guide to prepare you for its release. Additionally, the instructions can be found in the dApp, and they will share complete documentation for the process on February 13th.
This functionality is part of Fetch.AI’s Companion dApp, a new application in the ASI ecosystem that significantly enhances the ASI Cosmos chain user experience. If you have CUDOS in your ASI wallet, you can navigate through the companion dApp.
To claim and convert stranded CUDOS tokens not already in your ASI wallet, users should:

This streamlines asset access and management, removing technical hurdles for users. The application will trigger the CUDOS into FET conversion with the smart contract. Users with CUDOS stuck on a closed IBC channel can also claim their funds without sending tokens or doing the previous steps. All the wallets that can claim tokens and the stuck amounts added to the contract can be found here.
Please note that the IBC channels with CUDOS are no longer active, so users with CUDOS in a wallet in Archway or Osmosis must move them to the ASI chain.
Advancing Decentralised Compute Together
CUDOS is committed to democratising cloud computing through a decentralised and sustainable model. Fetch.ai, with its autonomous agent-based infrastructure, aligns perfectly with this vision. This collaboration moves us closer to a more interconnected, AI-driven, and decentralised Web3 ecosystem.
The ASI Alliance, consisting of CUDOS, Fetch.ai, Ocean Protocol, and SingularityNET, continues to push forward decentralised compute solutions that challenge Big Tech’s dominance of computing resources and put control back into the hands of users.
You can also explore more at CUDOS, CUDOS Intercloud, and the ASI Alliance to see how decentralised computing is evolving.
