??????? Recipe for adding 36K to your bottom line (step 1 of 2)

?????? Recipe for adding 36K to your bottom line (step 1 of 2)

In this issue:

  • ?? Step 1 of 2
  • ?? Cleaning up silly spend
  • ?? Tackling the big rocks
  • ????♂? Overcoming the objections
  • ? What “live well, below your means” … means

If you're making 60K+ in your job, the next two issues here are going to simplify how you can add 36K to your yearly bottom line:

Step 1: reduce your expenses by an average of $1500 per month.

?? Clean up any "silly spend"

You probably know what the “silly spend” is for you.

It might be door dash … or nails … or cocktails. ??

If you’re having trouble here or don’t think it exists for you: please, please, please … for the love of your net worth and freedom … examine your spend. ????♂?

Review the last 3-6 months of all your transactions. Unless you’re one of the very few who’s already super frugal (by the way, you can be too frugal and this is no bueno either), I can guarantee you’ll find spend you can clean up.

It never feels like a lot in the moment, but when you pull the data, it might surprise you where a few hundred dollars a month are going … in categories you wouldn’t exactly consider “essentials.”

but let's be honest: LIFE IS STINKING EXPENSIVE, so to really move the needle here, you have to get creative on your “big rock” expenses.

???????? The big rocks: housing, transportation, food & drink.

Dig deep and get creative for how you can make a significant dent in these big rock expenses.

  • Househacking / roommates? ?? (imagine cutting your housing expense by half or more)
  • Taking a season off the adult beverages? (so many young professionals spend between $300-$600 per month on booze ??)
  • Swapping a car loan for an e-bike (at least for a season)? ????♂?

????♂? But Blake, inflation.

Yes, inflation is real. And it really sucks.

But don’t be a victim. Choose the victor mindset.

Let it motivate you to get more creative and do some crazy stuff.

Improvise. Adapt. Overcome. ????

Does this mean no more fun? ??

Heck no, techno. My mantra: “Live well, below your means.”?

The comma there is very intentional.

?? You can live an exciting, fun, vibrant life … and still live well below your means.

It’s all about mindset and attitude. ??

The members of our Net Worth Coach community are living proof of this.

They're making what others might consider significant sacrifices, but they’re actually enjoying their life even more on the journey.

???? And they’re especially loving the results – extra cash they’re able to invest and grow their net worth … creating more freedom and optionality for their (current or future) family.

I really am. ????

Bottom line: this isn’t rocket science. Neither is getting physically fit in the gym.

But having a specific game plan and a coach to help you actually follow through … can be all the difference. ????

???? In the next issue, I’ll get into step 2 for generating the other 18K.

In your corner,

Blake Bozarth
