“Recharge” with the New Campaign for Pets Add Life (PAL)
The bond between humans and their furry, feathery or scaly friends is incomparable. Sharing life with a beloved pet can bring a multitude of benefits for their owners, melting away the stress of the day one love-filled interaction at a time.
This bond is why APPA is excited to announce the launch of its “Recharge” campaign for Pets Add Life (PAL), the Association’s consumer-facing initiative. The campaign centers around the power pets have to recharge owners’ minds, bodies and emotions on a daily basis.

Featuring social and digital ads and animated graphics, this playful content went live across PAL-owned platforms and through a paid advertising campaign in late August. Other initiatives, including engaging videos and an influencer campaign, will help showcase that pets are an endless source of fun and energy, bringing joy to the lives of their owners.
APPA’s CEO Pete Scott said it best: “Increasingly supported by scientific research, the human-animal bond has the power to elevate the wellbeing of humans, both physically and mentally. The ‘Recharge’ campaign – through dynamic, relatable imagery and narration – showcases how animals can sense our moods and have the ability to bestow joy and peacefulness that melts away the struggles and challenges of the day. Humans benefit from pets in various ways that are deeply intertwined with health and wellbeing, something we hope this campaign will further amplify.”
For more than 15 years, PAL’s goal has been to promote the joys and benefits of pet ownership while educating current and potential pet owners on the proper care of companion animals.
