Reception House Organizes a Youth Trip to "Chicopee Tube Park, Kitchener"
Reception House Waterloo Region
Serving refugees since 1987. Together, we create home.
We are thrilled to share the latest adventure organized by the Reception House Youth Program team! Recently, our team arranged a memorable trip for youth newcomers to Chicopee Tube Park, offering exhilarating experiences for our young participants.
The journey began as the bus picked up the enthusiastic youth and transported them to Chicopee Tube Park, where a day of thrills and excitement awaited.
Our youth newcomers, hailing from diverse backgrounds including Arab, Afghan, Rohingya, African, and Somali, enjoyed two unforgettable hours filled with laughter, excitement, and shared experiences. Reception House provided snacks to keep the energy levels high as the youth explored the wonders of Chicopee Tube Park.
To ensure effective communication and inclusivity, interpretation services were provided throughout the trip, allowing all participants to fully engage and enjoy the experience.
The trip not only offered entertainment but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and community among our young participants. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to bond, create memories, and enjoy the beauty of nature.
As we continue to organize enriching experiences for our youth, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Chicopee Tube Park for providing such a wonderful venue for our excursion.
Stay tuned for more updates and exciting adventures from Reception House Youth Program!
Warm regards,
