A recent update to the Mental Wellness Society Help Israel Initiative

We are happy to announce that the research and development of the helmet—a wireless dry EEG measurement and near-infrared therapy device—will be based at Bar-Ilan University, Israel! Prof. Nira Mashal , Head of the Neuroeducation MA program, Dr. Joseph Wallach , and Dr. Oded Meiron, PhD will work on this groundbreaking initiative, spearheaded by Dr. Abraham-Gerard Meyer, Ph.D.

Dr. Abraham-Gerard Meyer, Ph.D. , Head of The Mental Wellness Society International and ResWell-VUCAH/PTSD, in collaboration with The Resilience & Well-Being Foundation, founded the Help Israel Mental Health Consortium. This initiative seeks to unite institutions and stakeholders across Israel to address the unprecedented surge of soldiers facing challenges in readjusting to civilian life while coping with PTSD and other trauma-related conditions.

Our focus is on leveraging advanced technologies, such as brain-mapping helmets, to revolutionize PTSD treatment. By tailoring interventions to individual brain activity, we aim to enhance therapeutic outcomes and provide more personalized care.

This academic and clinical collaboration with iMedSync marks a crucial step in integrating evidence-based practices into mental health research and treatment. We want to make a meaningful impact in the field by grounding our work in rigorous science.
