We’re always delighted to report on a client’s exit and sale of the business. Of course, it’s not the only reason investors invest, and entrepreneurs go the extra mile every day for their business. But it does deliver a tick in the box for both parties.
In this case a very large tick! Our client, Child’s Farm, was sold last month to PZ Cussons for ￡37 million in cash. Wind back 7 & ? seven years to 2014 we raised the business ￡650,000 from a single investor; this investment bought our investor a very healthy minority stake in the company. In addition to his capital, our investor played an active strategic role within the business, joining and remaining on the board through this period.
