This week, raw material prices fluctuated as follows:
- Price Increases: Pure Benzene: increased by approximately $13.89/ton
- Price Decreases:Aniline: decreased by approximately $55.56/tonCyclohexylamine: decreased by approximately $27.78/tonMIBK: decreased by approximately $27.78/ton
- Price Stability:Acetone: prices remained stable other additive raw materials: prices also remained stable
- Accelerator Market: After a period of increased sales, the market has calmed due to adjustments in upstream raw material prices. Order volumes have decreased compared to last week, but prices remain stable with ample supply. Despite slight fluctuations in upstream prices, production margins are low, and there is little inventory pressure, leading to strong price support. The price of accelerators is expected to remain stable in the near term.
- Antioxidant Market: The antioxidant market lags slightly behind accelerators, continuing the strong momentum from last week with increasing order volumes. This has tightened the supply of Antioxidant 4020, leading to longer delivery times for some brands and slight price increases. Antioxidant RD also saw price increases due to higher transaction volumes and rising prices of other additives. With the drop in aniline prices, the market has cooled somewhat, but given the high order volumes at production facilities and the approaching peak season, there is a low likelihood of significant price drops. Further price increases could occur if raw material prices rebound.
- Other Materials:
- Insoluble Sulfur: supply remains ample, and prices are stable.
- Zinc Oxide: saw a slight price increase.
- Stearic Acid, Silane Coupling Agents, and Anti-scorching Agents: prices remain stable. Carbon Black price raised a little.
