Received $400 worth of items for $17.00

So this post was too long to post as a status so I had to share it as a post. All you money saving millionaires (because I know you like to save money too) and all those penny pinchers, the coupon Kings and Queens and the those who get a thrill out of saving should enjoy this little story!

Bought $400.00 worth of items at Target for $22.00!!! As the cashier closed her register to check out my 2 1/2 basket full of items the register began to shut down because yes I'm the lady in the store buying all the 75% off Christmas items that I can use all year round plus groceries (haaaa). The cashier hit the back button too many times so it aborted my whole transaction. So Target gave me several gift cards for the cashier having to scan my items again. So of course I'm the coupon lady so I had coupons and I was purchasing the 5 items so I can get the $5.00 gift cards (I did this in different transactions so I could use them towards my next final purchase). Anyways...after it was all said and done I was the lady everyone was looking at and shocked to hand over $25.00 and then she hands me another $5.00 gift card so technically I spent $17.00 and had more than 20 bags! Ok that's my rant for the day. YAY for me and YAY for Target ! It's a HAPPY NEW YEAR still (laughs).
