Recap of the Generative AI Hackathon: A Collaboration Between AICamp, Cloudflare, and Google

This past Saturday, April 27th, AICamp, Cloudflare, and Google came together to organize an exciting Generative AI Hackathon. The day was filled with excitement, innovation, and a true celebration of creativity in AI. Let's take a look at how this event unfolded:

The Event

The hackathon saw a remarkable turnout of participants, all brimming with enthusiasm, curiosity, and energy. It was truly inspiring to witness each participant's passion and dedication to the event. More than 100 AI developers attended and formed ~20 teams to build AI applications. 16 of them came to the stage demo and presented to the judges and audiences.

The Team

A special shoutout to the incredible AICamp team - Bill Liu , Hamza Zerarka , Sonam G. and Elisa Yao - whose exceptional teamwork and organizational skills played a pivotal role in making the hackathon a resounding success. Their dedication and hard work did not go unnoticed.

The Judges

The hackathon was graced by an esteemed panel of judges, including Jeremiah Owyang , Vikram Tiwari , Craig Dennis , and Sophy Yan . Their expertise and guidance added a valuable dimension to the event, ensuring a fair evaluation of the innovative projects.

The Workshops

Attendees were treated to insightful tech talks during the event. Highlights included discussions on "Gemini and Responsible AI" by Vikram, "Function Calling with Gemini" by Peter Danenberg , and "Get Started on Llama 3" by Craig. These talks provided valuable insights into cutting-edge AI technologies.
