REC and Cripton, Reaching for the Sun
Here are some great drone photos from Cripton Environmental Engineering showing how to overcome HVAC system shading by elevating the solar panels.
This installation, currently in progress, utilizes high efficiency REC TwinPeak 2S panels. With a power output of 285 Wp, these award-winning panels reach unprecedented heights in multicrystalline technology. Our REC TwinPeak 2 Series panels have cells from larger wafers (156.75 mm), five busbars, half-cut cell technology, PERC (Passivated Emitter Rear Cell) technology, and a split junction box spread across the middle of the panel, allowing an innovative panel design. As with all REC panels, the TwinPeak 2 is 100% free from potential induced degradation (PID), avoiding power losses in the harshest environments of high temperature and humidity. Together, these features lower balance of system costs and improve system yield thanks to increased power output and improved performance in shaded conditions.
REC is proud to work with Cripton Environmental Engineering Pte. Ltd. on this project, a 514 kWp 2nd phase expansion of this rooftop solar system at Eunos Technolink in Singapore. Cripton is a passionate and innovative solar power company specializing in the engineering of integrated commercial and domestic solar PV systems. Over the years, Cripton Environmental Engineering have been engaged in designing, installing and commissioning for hundreds of solar PV systems in Singapore, Philippines, and Indonesia.
