Rebuilding after Setbacks of a Lacklustre Year.
Today's the first Monday of 2020. Was last year tough? Planned resolutions went awry? Still finding work? Dragging the feet to work? Wondering when the next better #Win is imminent?
Nature has a way of assuring us - Look at the deers in the wild. They are one of the most preyed yet persevered as gentle creatures displaying innate #agility and #strength. Often perched precariously at hillsides and high altitude, they thrive in areas where predators find hard to reach. The deer's antlers fall off and grow again. Can we #regenerate ourselves in this new decade in spite of challenges, like deers?
Years back, I made an #investment that wiped out some years of my savings. I was stunned, I was too trusting - ultimately I had 2 choices and I chose to #LetGo and Regenerate. I've come to embrace that giant leaps start with small steps, that I needed to take baby steps to #restart and #relearn.
Take one step at a time and don't worry if we aren't ahead of the pack. Our time will come if we stay patient.
I did make good to recover from the setback, persevering through learning (and more calculated decisions). Yes! By taking modest steps, one at a time. It took a while and that harrowing episode honed me into the person of #Resilience today.
In this new year, let's remember that small steps of #positivity and action make the big difference. Live in the Now and our little steps to #rejuvenate will become significant over time. Believe in Time and Space. Things will come to be as we plod on steadily. A finite past will always have a new beginning while we stay patient with ourselves.

It is impossible to live without failure unless you live so cautiously you might not live at all, in which case you fail by default. As for me, failure strips the non-essential and I stop pretending to myself, I was anything but myself. And began to direct all my energy to finish the work that matter to me. Rock bottom became the solid foundation where I began my life.?
