Businesses grow, customers grow and so is our mindset for our branding. Whether the logo works or not, We’ll likely need to change our brand look at some point down the line. A fresh new branding means modernizing and taking your branding set from the past and bringing it to the future.?

When starting off, all we can think about is getting the best looking brand possible with the knowledge of potential audience but of course we can never see the outcome and the actual audience of your business. Creating the best brand is the main priority for any business starting out, but somewhere along the line, It needs a little refresh touch to move along with time.?

Rebranding is the process of giving a touch of refresh towards brands, that can include the logo, styling, typography, brand’s tone of voice, etc. Rebranding is definitely not uncommon for any major brand, the idea is to send out a message for the public to know, even with the slightest change.?

While rebrand is definitely not necessary, it is definitely worth taking into consideration somewhere down the line where you feel like your brand might need to move forwards.?

GAP is a well known clothing and accessory brand established in 1969. After the sale was not looking good, they decided to rebrand their 20 years long standing logo, it backfired and resulted in them returning to their old logo in just 6 days.?

Targeting the right audience means everything, different audience means different liking, interest and demographic.?

The public audience can sometimes associate or falsely accuse of something with the company’s name which can lead to the company having a bad reputation and name for ongoing days.?

What’s been working? What’s not working? A must do when starting the rebranding process is to draft out all the problems to see what the issue is. You’ll want to examine every aspect of your company.?

A good approach to this would be to evaluate all the data your company contains, see all the strength and weakness of the brands from all the resources and traffic

If you are changing or adding a new product you should aim your brand to the new target audience. Just like the second step, Data is a valuable partner of yours. If it’s all not enough, you can always add a survey in there for your audience to define their likings for?

Brand’s core and value

Redefine what your business means and what it has to impact your customer. What is the impression you want to see from the customer after seeing your brand? This can include your brand voice and personality as a whole, it’s how you interact with your audience in public social posts.?

If you are having a hard time to get ideas for this, you can check the insights of your data and check their demographic, age, personality and behavior. Now that you got all the list down, think of you talking to them, How would you interact with them? What would be the key factor for them to be interested in you??

Take a look at your competitor, see what accelerates them and you can maybe learn a few things from them. Factor in their strategies and see how you can create your own strategies that are even better.

You can see how it plays out for them and avoid making the same mistake. Take in all the factors and break out to see which is used right and what you leverage off. This is a great way to do so if you’re tight on budget
