Rebound Faith

I looked around, and I fear! I saw depression, darkness, death, disease, panic, divorce, addiction, abuse, brokenness, loneliness, joblessness, wars, battles, storms, troubles, crisis, injustice, affliction, poverty, desperation, and devastation.

So, I open my hands to cover my face and wipe my tears, but then, I saw the word - faith!

images of His crown of thorns

glimpses of His bruised body

For in His grace, Jesus traded our place on the cross. He took all our sins, shame, suffering, sickness and struggles.

I smiled, written in my hand, was hope, and my eyes caught the vision! I know even in darkness His light dawns. So I stopped the venting and prophesied the breakthrough!

Strengthening my faith to overcome every fear, I wrote the word - REBOUND!

For written in Jesus' hands is my name and your name too. He says, " I would not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me." (Isaiah 49:16)

Therefore when God opens His hands, He remembers us. He sees our names that are written and images of our faces imprinted in His nail-scarred hands.

We may have encountered and endured some setbacks, but God will never forsake, fail, nor forget us. He will deliver, help, heal, bless, protect, provide, save, rescue, redeem, restore, reward, and prosper us by His grace and all for His glory.

FOR OUT OF THESE ASHES, BEAUTY SHALL RISE!
