Reasons To Make A Change

Reasons To Make A Change

I see people creating change, and I’m interested in looking at what motivates them to make it happen. It can be out of the blue, like serendipity, after a period of wrestling with a decision or because of an alignment of personal factors.

My husband just had cataract surgery, a friend just launched new work, my son is losing weight, clients are looking at self-defeating behaviors, we’re launching something new with our non-profit. The list goes one. It’s exciting and interesting.

Would any of these reasons make you change?

OPPORTUNITY PRESENTS ITSELF

This is one of the easiest and most exciting ways to make a change. You’ve had an idea in the back of your mind, even searched for something and then boom, it pops up. This is the Law of Vibration working for you - you’ve thought about it, looked for it and then it arrives, like magic. This means the “carpet is rolling out in front of you” as I like to say. A friend is about to land a dream job this way. Be sure to see it as the gift it truly is.

YOU’VE BEEN INSPIRED

It’s wonderful when change occurs in the form of inspiration or a “download” of an idea. It’s a sign you’re being guided to consider a change that would be good for you, or it meets other’s greater good. This is often how new ideas come to me, in meditation or out of the blue. Pay attention, the inspiration is for a reason. The new program for our non-profit has come to me this way, as has all my previous workshops.

FACING YOUR TRUTH

If someone says something or circumstances make you realize you have to face your truth, you know it’s time. Address self-defeating behaviors that cause health consequences or those interpersonal or job difficulties. Take care of yourself. It can be very exciting to address something difficult when you’re ready to embrace change. ?

THINGS ARE BAD

When things are bad, it’s often an uphill battle to get moving. Search for clues that the time for change is now. Often the signs have been there, and you’ve ignored them. Pay attention to your feelings, the opportunities, the inspiration and face your truth. Get support – it’s hard to do it alone.

Can you relate? Reach out if you want support for your change.
