The training course in the spotlight this week is our Adjustments - what is reasonable? course.

Reasonable adjustments play a huge part in enabling disabled people to obtain and stay in employment. There are approximately 5 million disabled people in employment in the UK, however the employment gap between disabled and non-disabled people is now greater than ever before, with those suffering from mental health problems having the lowest employment rates of all disabled people.

Ask yourself - do you have a truly inclusive working environment? Are you getting the best out of your workforce?

We have designed this ? day in-person course in conjunction with Microlink PC (UK) Ltd . The session will guide you through the legal framework for making reasonable adjustments. This course is a must for HR professionals, in-house lawyers, staff with line-management responsibilities or anyone taking in an interest in diversity, with a specific focus on disability.

What will you learn:

?? What is reasonable?

?? How the needs of individuals will differ

?? How to get the best out of occupational health (OH)

?? How to work constructively with colleagues to ensure you have a truly inclusive working environment and get the best out of your workforce.

?? How to manage termination of disabled colleagues where adjustments cannot be implemented or have been exhausted.
