The Reason People Get Rich

I'd like to touch on a crucial aspect of increasing income. Often, when we throw ourselves into the business world or chase after career goals, we end up focusing on concrete tools: "To earn more, I need to learn something new, pick up a new technique or methodology," and so on. And yes, without a doubt, our expertise and innovative strategies do bring in money.

But, the real game-changer in making substantial money is shifting your mindset towards taking full responsibility for your life, your business, and for others. It's not about shouldering everything alone but about assembling a team.

Take me, for example. I decided that I was ready to take on such a level of responsibility that I was willing to take the risk and introduce my project, Smelter, to Mexico, and organize large-scale events despite nobody knowing me or my brand.

What sets all top managers of large companies, great entrepreneurs, and people with high incomes apart from others isn't just a handful of knowledge or practical skills. It's their mindset and the actions they take, actions they're fully responsible for.

They simply head towards their goal, their point B, and take responsibility for everything that happens along the way - all the risks, failures, success, and for the team that's with them. They're ready to stand by their words.

Trust me, neither Steve Jobs nor I, as I venture into business in Latin America, nor anyone else, has 100% of the knowledge, tools, or absolute certainty that everything will turn out perfectly. Of course not.

What makes us different is that right now, we’re either courageously pursuing our dreams, taking responsibility, and preparing for both the tough and the smooth paths, or we aren’t.

It's about whether we take responsibility for this journey or not, plain and simple.
