"The reason most people fail... "

The rest of the above quote goes like this, "The reason most people fail instead of succeed is they trade what they want most for what they want at the moment." - Napoleon
Now that National Quitters Day is behind us, it seems as good a time as any to revisit the goals we set for 2025. Remembering that goals aren’t meant to be static—they’re supposed to be revisited often. This allows us to understand whether they need minor tweaking, a full edit, or lite on fire and tossed in the trash.
If you’ve already found yourself stepping away from your 2025 goals—this is your opportunity to sit back down and rewrite them. Perhaps you were sipping on a couple Old Fashioneds while jotting down your goals and realize now that you may need to dial it back a bit. If that's the case or something else entirely, then simply simplify and refocus on what truly matters and what’s realistic for the season you’re in. The most important part is having a clear roadmap as a guide to get you to where you want to go.
Progress is about intention, persistence, and the willingness to adjust along the way - and perhaps not trading what you want most, for want you want at the moment.
Cheers to a successful 2025!
