Realty Sector- Most preferential asset for Investment

Real estate is indeed a secure bet for many, provided they continue to be invested for a long-term. Also, property prices are at their lowest best across most cities and with government announcing a slew of measures favouring the world, both investors and buyers hope for steady growth within the future.

Although the important estate sector has been browsing a restrained phase over the past few years but because of the progressive policies like ‘Housing For All’ and regulatory reforms including RERA, GST, REITs etc. bringing transparency, investments from private equity and institutional players have seen a big rise, thereby brightening the prospects of land.

As per the survey conducted- affordable and mid-segment housing priced within Rs 90 lakh is the clear choices today, also, mid-segment properties priced from Rs 45-90 lakh topped consumer demand with 42 per cent respondents voting in its favour, followed by 31 per cent preferring homes priced lesser than Rs 45 lakh.

This indicates that the prevailing mood among prospective buyers who still repose their faith inland because the best investment option and continuing it for the longer period of your time. At a time when banks have considerably reduced their exposure to the land sector thanks to the matter of NPA, the rising inflow of funds from PE players, financial institutions, pension and sovereign wealth funds, is basically an encouraging trend- especially considering that Housing for All mission requires huge investment.
