Are realtor's going to be wiped out?

There is a lot of money flowing into companies like Zillow, Opendoor and Amazon just to name a few. We as realtors are pouring all of our money into these companies for short term gains while these companies are collecting all of the data. Whoever has the data and brand will take over and win long term. The need for realtors will eventually disappear, we don't know when but it is coming.

There is only one thing that can keep you in the game and that is your personal brand! If your a realtor and with companies like Remax , Coldwell Banker , Sotheby's, etc. your also out of luck since you are basically promoting their brand and not your own. This is one of the reasons why I choose to join EXP realty as they allow and encourage their agents to promote their own brands.

If your serious about real estate and want to continue to be a realtor you must get with the times and really start building your customer base under YOUR BRAND not someone else's!
