What a surprise I had a couple of years ago when I arrived to deliver a #microsofttraining session at my oldest client. They had acknowledged the quote I repeat persistently during my training sessions over the years by giving it pride of place on their training room wall. #itsnotrocketscience

I’m so glad they had been listening because did you know that the average Microsoft Office user utilises about 12-15% of its capability? Just imagine how much more productive an organisation could be if they were simply shown functionality that has been available for years but never utilised.

I liken it to you offering a colleague a lift to work and during the journey they commented on the built in Bluetooth and Satellite Navigation system your car has. You look at the dashboard in amazement and at the buttons in question and realise that you had never noticed them before!!! How shocked would you be, knowing you had be driving the vehicle every day, for the last 8 years and not making use of its functions?

Well that’s the same reaction I get every time I deliver a #microsoftoffice training session and introduce people to #Excel Tables, #Word Styles, #PowerPoint Master Slides and #Outlook Quicksteps. They have been there for years and never been noticed
