As an example of the latter, RMDY supported BMW for the release event of a new model. To offer attendees an enriched user experience, they developed an augmented reality app allowing possible clients to customize their new car entirely in augmented reality. From color, to rims and even the way the trunk opens: BMW’s sales persons were able to show their clients’ needs in real life and scalable to the surroundings too.

To do exactly that, Yokogawa asked RMDY to create a fully virtual tour around their plants for their customers. In response RMDY built a virtual control room that centralizes every production process, offering insights into the operational model of the company.?

Mixed Reality

A well known examples is Pokémon Go, a mixed reality game in which you catch virtual creatures, hidden in the real world.

Or Augmented Reality on steroids. Mixed Reality, finally, is the next step of AR, in which you also combine the real world with computer images, but where virtual elements actually interact with real life elements in a virtual mix. Such as the Mixed Reality app EV’nAR, which RMDY developed for Diagnose Car. Diagnose Car wants to bring technology into classrooms, more specifically in automotive curriculums. To do so, they asked RMDY to build an application for their students that allows them to perform repairs or other actions to virtual cars in an actual, real life class.?

By using this technology, schools aren’t obligated to have broken cars in their practice environments. Which is of course a huge logistic advantage, but lowers the chance of injuries as well.?
