REALITY VERSUS PERCEIVED REALITY

We all do come across situation/s in our life, when we find ourselves in a situation where we are feeling cornered despite knowing well that we are right, just becuase the mass has a way of thinking different than our own. At times the age-old established but unverified, yet popular beliefs dominate and prevail. A new discovery or ivention has to go through the process of its validation against the established standard, which need not be correct! The civilization is full of such examples of unsung heroes whose life is a story of staying in dark throughout their life and they were found correct later on! The trouble is - we expect a more accurate but recently developed concept to validate itself by succumbing itself to popular beliefs, which do not stand the acid-test of technical superiority, but enjoy the popularity simply becuase they have prevailed priort to the new invention.

Radically different work always is subjected to such rigorous tests while getting compared to a mediocre work of past. How many of my fellow linked-in professionals have found themselves in such difficult situation and what did they do to ultimate prevail and resist the pressure that cornered them towrds extinction?. Many practical situations are so difficult and different that no amount of technical precision ever raises its precision level to 100 %.

Thanks to AI/ML, Data science management, we now have a scientific method of solving a complex problem by predictive calculation rather than measurement. The age-old method of measurement still enjoys the popularity and professioals seek validation of calculated values by compaaring them with less accurate measured values!
