The Reality of Survivability: A Biblical View of Overcoming Hostile Operating Environment (Vs Darwin's Theory of Natural Selection)

In his work, "Origin of Species," Charles Darwin introduced the theory of natural selection.
He argued that populations of living organisms change and adapt through this process, which involves the transmission of favourable traits through generations.
Darwin also differentiated between natural and artificial selection, where the former occurs without human intervention, while humans control the latter.
This theory explains how favoured species survive and adapt to changes in their environment.
However, while some people don't support evolution as a material explanation for the universe, the concept of survivability based on a species' ability to adapt is worth exploring.
Although Darwinism argues that natural selection is random, it's possible to identify forces behind this process, and causality is real.
The reality of opposition is becoming increasingly evident in today's hostile, unconducive, and adverse environment.
This applies to both Christians and non-Christians.
The desire to overcome difficulties and adversaries in the environment makes people use underhanded methods to get ahead, including lying, cheating, stealing, and killing.
This environment is a result of the fall of man, where God cursed Adam, and man was destined to experience resistance in achieving their goals.
Neil deGrasse Tyson correctly diagnoses the toxicity of the world initiated by the fall of man, but the Bible paints a different picture.
The chaos began with man's rebellion, and man's final redemption will restore Order.
Opposition is both ecological and cosmic, both natural and spiritual, and even though the universe seems to want to kill us all, the Bible assures us of a different reality.
Jesus assured Peter that He would build His church and the gates of hell would not prevail against it.

Paul lamented that although a great opportunity for effectual work was available, many repugnant oppositions existed.
There are 5 vital ingredients for Success: Speed, Strenght, Wisdom, Understanding and Skill.
In Ecclesiastics 9:11, Solomon observed that the?fastest runner?doesn’t always win the race, and the?strongest warrior?doesn’t always win the battle. The?wise?sometimes go hungry, the?skilful?are not necessarily wealthy, and those who are?educated?don’t always lead successful lives.
Yet these, on their own, do not ultimately qualify for success.
He concluded that?Time?and?Chance?are the other secret ingredients that play important roles.
Time?refers to?Seasons?— the right, conducive, favourable conditions for something to thrive.
In the natural and ecological sense, Seasons are defined by specific weather patterns caused by the earth’s position in its orbit around the sun.
Plants and animals thrive differently in different seasons.
There are plants that can only survive in some seasons, while others survive all seasons.
On the other hand, the concept of?Chance?is much deeper than random happenings or fate; and it is broader than probability.
As I studied the concept of?Chance?(Original Hebrew word ?????; phonetically spelt peh'-gah derived from paw-gah'), I realised that it refers to the occurrence of an event or impact that is caused by an?Accident,?Violence?or?Importunate intercessions?or entreaty.
