When our kids are babies, we feel pressured to return to work.
When our kids are in middle or high school, we realize we don't have much time left with them.
Do you ever wonder if buying a practice was a hasty decision?
We are constantly told to cherish every moment, but it's tough when you haven't slept in months, and she is crying inconsolably.
The voice starts to pop in your head...
Am I the only one struggling with this?
Was that a blip to decide on buying a practice?
Is there a better way to do it?
You had a family discussion with your husband and the kids before you decided to pull the trigger. You got everyone involved, and they all rooted for you, saying: "Mom, you should do it!" But were they old enough to make that decision? Was it all a mistake?
If this is you, my friend, you are not alone.
Being a working mom and a practice owner is THE hardest thing, in my opinion. But it doesn't have to be this way.
There are two things to consider:
领英推荐
1- You can substantially decrease stress and exhaustion.
By working on your thoughts, optimizing your schedule, and making key decisions, you can get to a sustainable place. Truly. I've done this for myself and with many of my clients.
But also, I want you to really hear me, my friend, -->
2- You can re-decide your decisions.
You can re-decide owning a practice. Re-decide your living accommodations, re-decide the expenses and the lifestyle.
There is no one to make proud of or prove anything to, and there is for sure as heck only one precious life to live.
Now, if you're thinking, "Zhanna, where do I even find time to re-decide? I haven't even washed my hair in 4 days or eaten sitting down, and you want me to find time to make life decisions." - I hear you, my friend, and I've got you.
I am hosting a co-working hour online.
It is our space for busy mom dentists to stop for 60 minutes and think.
If you want a safe space, no talking or camera, we will hold that space for you and get some work done.

See you on Saturday!
P.S. If you're reading this later in the week and missed the event, don't worry, my friend; you can still join us: https://mailchi.mp/0ff6353cd67a/sign-up and get notified right away about all future events.
