Real-World, Geospatial Augmented Reality?

What better time than the Independence Day holiday to demonstrate Locye Vision, our forthcoming geospatial #augmentedreality capability? This field test is aboard a pontoon boat at 19 mph above the 45th parallel in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan while passing the majestic 1004 footer, Mesabi Miner, at about 8 mph as she carries coal or iron ore to port.

During this water surface testing, real-world coordinates and altitudes of navigational buoys were tracked using Locye Vision to demonstrate accuracy with very high magnetic interference from the boat's console. This demonstrates Locye Vision’s real-time, auto-scaling, and auto-orienting radarscope that depicts the position of all tracked objects in relation to the user's current position - and midway through - highlights the interactions of real-world AR interactions and complex geometries.
