Intelligence is basically ability to process data/information and yield some output. We often measure it as IQ; Intelligence Quotient. Human possesses even more powerful resource called EQ; Emotional Quotient. Which signifies one's ability to comprehend his/her own emotions as well of others' and effectively deal with these emotions. IQ and EQ gel together to give us something known as our intellect, which is one of the most powerful human resource. Intellect, simply put, is our ability to deal with data, feelings, emotions, situations, dilemmas etc. Man made machines such as computers and allied technologies have been easing out or reducing the repeated nature of works . Similarly, AI, ML has the potential to significantly reduce the head counts dedicated for tasks primarily dealing with data such as leaves management, payroll, budget forecasts. But, I firmly believe, AI can never replace the jobs which entails human to human interactions such as employee relations, customer relations, and so on.The warmth and empathy that human interactions may produce are beyond the capacity of any technological interventions. For example, how irritated you feel till you receive automated responses while you make a call to customer care and what a sigh of relief it gives as soon as you get some human being on the other end; empathetically listening to your concerns and queries and assuring you of probable solutions. Human curiosity and behaviour is so complex and so multi dimensional that it will take entire human race to feed their inputs specially pertaining to EQ, still the machine will fall short of its purpose. Because you know, we are always evolving. Hence, there seems no substitute to EQ. and EQ is what matters the most! specially while dealing with people.
