EACH OF US IS HUMANITY

EACH OF US IS HUMANITY

I strongly believe that all the problems arise from a personal identification with a culture or a vision of the world that brings-up the definition of the other as someone or something irremediably different from me.

I reflect every single day on this. I grew up in a culture where we considered something natural to see the other as someone or something different from me and to start judging the persons or fear them simply because different.

But are we so different, so irremediably different from one another?

Allow me to invite you to realize that each of us is HUMANITY.

Turn your gaze inward!

If we don't know who we really are, we can focus on success, we can aim to be perfect mentors or fantastic citizens or extraordinary entrepreneurs or absolute alternative people in everything but if this is an ideal it will always be something that arrives from the outside and which we have accepted as a lifeline.

So, who am I? Who are you? Who is she? Who is he? Who are we?

I am a HUMAN BEING connected to all other HUMAN BEINGS.

Let’s dig deeper.

Let's try to see really, not intellectually how in our daily life, we build images of everything and everyone: our wife, our husband, our own neighbors, of our country, of our children, of our parents, of our friends.

They are just images, and these images create a space between us and those we observe. In that space the conflict arises.

If we are in a real relationship, we can cooperate. But this cooperation cannot take place based on images, ideologies, ideas. Only when we understand how connected we all are to each other love becomes possible.

In my Coaching sessions, I encourage my clients (or my students when I am at the College) to face this super structure of images, ideas, ideologies that they have created in their lives about everything and everyone and for a few moments to let it collapse or forget about it. And JUST BE in the present moment where they don't want to be or achieve anything.

The moment we let go or forget about everything, we only see the beauty. We see and hear sounds, colors, the movement of light on the leaves. It's a break from this structure of conditioning, a break from the Self, from the memories. And in that moment of TOTAL PRESENCE, something comes out.

It becomes evident the beauty and the goodness of life, the recognition of the other not as a stranger, as someone different from me or you but of the other as a wonder to discover.

And this coming to the surface has a creative power. A truly enormously transformative power I call COACHING.
