When Brad Raffensberger, the Georgia Secretary of State told Trump, " That would be illegal", Trump persisted. He then attempted to intimidate and threaten electors in a number of states to either, join him (Trump), in a conspiracy to break the law and vote in a manner contrary to the will of voters of their respective states required them to do. Or else... When that failed Trump, called for his army of white thugs, (Proud Boys, TEA PARTY etc.) to assemble at the Capitol to stop the United States Congress from following the law. He even asked them to kill the man he had chosen to be his Vice President. TRUMP's mob did breach the Capitol and killed several people. Prior to this happening Trump had indeed gone to court to get various U.S. District courts and state trial and appellate courts asking them to throw out the results of the November 2020 Presidential elections. A lot of you seemed to have collectively forgotten this but trump lost this cause of action in 63 different courts. JEEZ, WHAT WAS HE THINKING?. On 6 January the mob he summoned to the Capitol killed people and flew the flag of the Confederate States of America in the Rotunda of the Capitol. Yes, the flag of an illegal movement of rebellion and succession.

Many of the Trump MAGA wingnuts who joined him on 6 January are in prison and will be there for a long time. While Trump made fund raising appeals which he implied were for his 2024 campaign, but which were actually applied to his tens of millions of dollars in legal expenses, his rebellious "army" were stuck with their own bills. Many went into bankruptcy and many will be in prison for a very long time. Years in fact. After this Trump has walked out of many courthouses and said, " I didn't do anything wrong". Several days ago I heard those same words in the middle of the night from a caller in California, asking me about a San Francisco Bay area criminal defense lawyer, who I went to law school. with. While speaking to my friend on one phone, I kept the young man on the line on another phone. The reverse charges call came from a San Francisco jail lockup. I looked up incidents in the Bay area and found that several men were shot dead at a party. I am a musician and an ex-football player I have been to a lot of parties. I have played at juke joints in South Carolina & Georgia, where a dispute over a woman or a gambling debt led to someone producing and discharging a firearm. Alcohol, guns and men are a toxic mix, but three people are not shot dead at millions of parties held around the world every weekend. SOMEBODY HAD TO HAVE DONE SOMETHING VERY WRONG OR THE THREE DEAD GUYS WOULD NOT BE DEAD.

Donald Trump once said, " I can shoot somebody dead in broad daylight on 5th Avenue and not lose a single vote. Wisely, he did not say I, " I would not be indicted, tried, convicted and imprisoned". Like my 3:AM caller, Trump has repeatedly said, " I DID NOT DO ANYTHING WRONG". WTF????. DEAD POLICE OFFICERS, MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN DAMAMGE. AN ENEMY FLAG UNFURLED INSIDE THE U.S. CAPITOL. I AM SORRY, BUT SOMEBODY DID DO SOMETHING WRONG. VERY WRONG. While his minions are spending years in prison for doing exactly what Trump asked them to do, this disturbed man has had the audacity to say, " I CAN NOT IDICTED, TRIED, CONVICTED OR IMPRISONED BECAUSE I HAVE PRESDIDENTIAL IMMUNITY. He has even gone so far as to say, " A President, any President, has to have Presidential immunity or he could not do his job". The obvious fallacy with this logic is that this disturbed son of Queens has confused the things listed in the job description for: PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. If Trump really does believe this, I would advise don't call me or my friend in the Bay area who is great defense attorney, at 3AM. A client who feels that way does not need a lawyer. He needs mental health treatment.

The irony is that his new statement, " I will probably be convicted at trial this year", gives me hope. Even an 80-year-old man can find and accept reality. Better late than never. I don't know within any degree of certainty, how the appellate process works once we depart this life. Do you get a Trial de Novo, or do you simply appear pro se and present your oral argument to the Highest of all Supreme Courts, on which there is only one Justice, and he or she does not have clerks or require briefs. Not at all, but I am quite certain that the HIGH COURT will consider the fact that the appellant stops saying, " I DID NOT DO ANYTHING WRONG, BEFORE THAT COURT HAS SCHEDULED HIS CASE FOR ORAL ARGUMENT".
