(Real) Service
Power distributors and power traders in Brazil have a very similar profile: they are extremely focused on themselves.
Although on their institutional websites they try to portray an image of being "very interested" in the customer, the practice is far from this.
This is not a guess. I worked with an American energy company based in the? Midwest because they contracted my company to develop business in Brazil.
I saw the approach of the CEO, and managers up close. Focus on the customer. Really. Here, upper managers rarely visit the customer, much less provide "real" service.
The good side is that there is a huge room to "turn around". I'm not inferring that it is about talking to the customer politely. Thinking about the customer means trying to find opportunities with them and making them happen for the benefit of everyone!
