This collection of stories reflects personal experiences and insights from five incredible individuals, who each took a unique journey in 2022 and went public about it on social media. Miko?aj is one of the funding fathers of Social Media in Poland. He was deeply involved in the first very successful Social Networking Platform, since then he has worked with new media.?Miko?aj is also a well-being enthusiast, he understands the importance of taking care of himself online as well as offline. He learned this firsthand when he began using features on social media like hiding content, unfollowing and deleting contacts in order to prioritize his own mental well-being.?By taking control of his online environment and curating the content and connections that he engages with, Miko?aj was able to create a safer and healthier space for himself. Marta
Marta is a highly experienced digital marketer and social media specialist with a huge experience with a focus on global social media strategies, trend analysis, training, crisis management and public speaking. She had a challenging year in 2022 as she focused on taking care of her mental health and emotional well-being. This meant making difficult decisions and facing specific private and professional costs. However, Marta knew that her long-term well-being was worth the investment.?2022 was also the first full year after Marta was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome and later ADHD, and she found that the diagnosis helped her to understand how her brain works in a way that she never had before. As it turned out, Marta had unconsciously surrounded herself with neuro-atypical and neurotypical compatible people, which helped her to feel more at ease and supported.?Marta's journey towards self-understanding and self-care was not always easy, but it ultimately helped her to feel more confident and at peace.
Maciej
Maciej has recently achieved a major career milestone by becoming the Head of Digital. This is a well-deserved reward for his hard work and dedication, and it also offers him new opportunities for growth. However, Maciej also acknowledges that even the most rewarding work can be challenging at times. He feels fortunate to have the support of his colleagues at his current company, who offer feedback, and helpful hands, and push him to be his best. However, Maciej knows that he cannot neglect his mental health in pursuit of his career goals. He understands that if he struggles with his mental health, it will impact his engagement and performance in all areas of his life.?That's why he makes a point of prioritizing his mental health, and he encourages others to do the same.?Maciej wants to continue to grow and succeed in his career, but he knows that it is only possible if he takes care of himself and works as a team player and supporter.

Anna
Anna is a skilled entrepreneur who helps other business owners to better understand their customers, market, and competition. However, even with her many successes, Anna struggled with depression for many years. She eventually sought help and was diagnosed with the condition, which helped her to understand that her feelings of despair and hopelessness were not due to laziness, selfishness, or a lack of motivation, but rather a neurotransmitter imbalance. In the past, he admits to putting his work and the needs of others ahead of his own, but he has come to realize that it is important to pause and reevaluate his priorities from time to time. He has learned to STOP and take a moment to trust in himself, feel his emotions, take a break from stress, speak up for himself, and be kind to himself. As Filip looks back on his experiences in 2022, he has decided to try something new that will help him to focus on his body and soul. He has found that meditation can be challenging for him, so he is now embarking on a journey with yoga in order to find a sense of balance and inner peace.?By focusing on self-care and slowing down, Filip hopes to create a more positive and fulfilling life for himself.

All this is just a snippet of 4 years of therapy, where I’ve been through bad anxiety, couple of panic attacks, compulsive eating, light alcohol abuse, and some very dark thoughts. Mental health, spiritual and physical health are my #1 priority beyond anything else. Life has many seasons and things can turn around 180 degree at any moment.
