A true experience in nurturing talent!

Nurturing talent is one of the hottest corporate topic nowadays what is the reality? How often do we as managers or leaders make a real impact in the life of our workforce?

I had these questions in my mind for years. Yes, we are sincere in our actions to make a difference but I only had the opportunity to measure the impact of nurturing talent in recent weeks. When it happened, it gives me a great sense of achievement. This experience will boost my motivation to continue in this corporate life.

Two people who gracefully thank me few days ago make me realise how we can contribute to their professional achievement. Eventhough, I believe I did nothing much. They built their own success and path in life.

• First @Anantha Ramakrishna Sharma, an #altran engineer who came in Malaysia on a project basis. He showed an incredible dedication to his work. He went above and beyond, always volunteer. He did the extra mile. Today, I am very proud of his achievement to be admitted at Grenoble Business School to do an MBA. Bravo!
• The second one is @Muhammad Hizral Tazeef a young talent who did an internship at @altran Malaysia to work with @raudha Raudhah Aminudin (incredible woman). He was dedicated, continuous learning, work late night if not all night long. He contributed a lot to manage one of the world largest A320 fleet in Asia. He never counted the hours spent at work and always volunteer to help.

Now? He is taking part of Flight Operation training in Spain to later participate to A400M program in Malaysia. Brilliant and future Star as an Engineer!

People development is not only a buzz word but a reality. I take this opportunity to thank @Stephanie Charneaux who was truly dedicated to find and look after our precious Asset: Human Capital. 

We can do incredible things if we care and put all our passion and energy - let’s not be scared to embrace talent nurturing.
