It's one thing to recognise mistakes, but you should also learn from them. The wisdom of learning from failure is incontrovertible. Yet it feels like organizations that do it well are rare.

9 年As a manager, it is imperative that I own my mistakes, to ensure my staff understands I accept us all as human, not to fear for their livelihood die to mistakes, and to show them the world won't burn down if we male mistakes, where we can almost always recover from a mistake. Managers that don't own their mistakes are not the sort that benefits a company as a whole.
