Allow me today to give you some insights our real estate management. Our Real Estate team is managing a portfolio of over 1.000 properties nationwide all over Romania. From the local switch, over high-tech data centers, all the way to the large downtown headquarter.

That is daily hard work and requires a lot of dedication, professionalism and constant focus on modernization. A big “thank you” for this to Bogdan Mihalte, Alberto Manea and Laurentiu Gabriel Irimia and the entire team for doing such a perfect job. Especially in these very extraordinary COVID times! Incredible spirit and commitment to make everything work in this period of special requirements and circumstances. We moved - also with the help of our Real Estate team - more than 3.200 colleagues into work from home within less than 2 weeks . Thanks a lot for this, impressive!

Thus, in general we are providing facilities to employees and the needed space for our technical equipment. As many others, we have to constantly optimize our usage of space and associated costs as technology advances and we transform.

One particularly noteworthy landmark project, that we are pursuing since a longer time, is the renovation and modernization of Palatul Telefoanelor in the center of Bucharest. We are working to bring this historic building up to the latest standards in safety and efficiency, with the goal to concentrate all our Bucharest activities in here. We already started in 2019 and expect to finish in 2021. It makes us very proud to soon be united in such an important location with this symbolic value.

As part of our portfolio optimization, we are also constantly open to new ideas and business partners, on how to jointly use our assets for the benefits of both, such as advertising in and on buildings or even selling some of our properties, which are not needed anymore for us, but offer a great development opportunity for other partners in search for space.
