How to improve your credit score
What is a credit score? It ranges from 300 to 900 and indicates, to the bank, the chances of you repaying the loans. Higher credit scores, especially those above 750, can get loans at cheaper interest rates. Some banks even refuse loan applications if the credit score is below a certain threshold.
Improving your credit score is not as complex as it may seem. The first and most straightforward rule is to never default on your EMI (easy monthly instalment). If you tend to forget the due date, you can opt for an auto debit, ensuring your payments are always on time and boosting your credit score.
